Investment Opportunities
Preface
This section of the website provides brief descriptions of topics that we have cataloged ideas for. Innovative Science, Inc. currently has > 300 pages of ideas so please check this section frequently as topic areas will be continuously added (this process is very labor intensive). In order to avoid publicly disclosing any intellectual property the summary for each topic is generalized. Included with each topic abstract is:
  1. The cost to conduct the research and development required to reduce the idea to practice. (This represents the minimum amount of capital investment required.)
  2. Likelihood of success expressed as a percentage.
  3. Earning potential on a 1 to 10 scale.
  4. Return on investment.
It should be noted that research and development type work is not guaranteed to result in success. Even the most carefully formulated and researched ideas have a probability of failure. Moreover, successfully developing a new process or product to meet an existing market need does not necessarily imply market acceptance. How readily a product or process is implemented depends on a complex set of variables. Intellectual property should be viewed as a long term investment that has the potential to generate profits many times in excess of the initial investment even in the worst case scenarios where the technology itself is licensed but never practiced or when the rights to the technology are sold outright.
